What is LibX?
LibX is a browser extension that brings library resources to your web browser. Available for Firefox 3 (Mac & Windows) and Internet Explorer 7 (Windows). LibX lets you:
- Search the library catalog, EKU electronic journals, WorldCat.org, and EKU Subject Guides from a toolbar in your browser;
- Reload any page through the library's proxy server;
- Highlight text and search the library catalog, WorldCat, or Google Scholar for that text.

Install LibX
Internet Explorer 6.x and up (Windows only)

- Click this link to download the LibX plugin for Internet Explorer.
- Click the Run button when prompted to Run or Save the file.
- If a warning is displayed about the publisher, click Run to proceed.
- When the installation has finished, restart Internet Explorer.
Firefox (Windows and Mac)
- Click this link to start the installation for Firefox.
- If Firefox warns you of software installation, click the Allow button in the top right corner.
- Click the Install button.
- Click the "Restart Firefox" button to restart Firefox.
