Printing specifications

The color laser printer prints in high quality on white paper only. You can send a print job to the color printer from any of the library computers by choosing "Library Color."

The cloud printer can be used to print from the library and from personal computers. If you'd like to use your personal laptop to print, you will need to install a printer driver following these directions:

Important:

Please note that If you print from the cloud printer app on your own device, the print job will be sent to the cloud printer on the second floor computer lab. Any printing job is available in the queue for only 48 hours.

If you are using a laptop that you checked out from the library, you can direct the print job to printers on any of the library's four floors, depending on your preferred location.

Printing costs

The Library participates in the university Pharos printing system, meaning that students can print on the library printers at the same cost and from wherever they might be on campus.

Students are allocated printing credits to be used on campus totaling $25. Detailed information about the cost of printing and the allocated printing credits is available in this EKU IT Printing Guidelines
