Tips for Researching Social Justice Careers

You have three main options to research careers in Social Justice.

  1. Research "Social and community service managers" keeping in mind that it is NOT an entry level position
    1. Social and Community Service Managers information in the Occupational Outlook Handbook
    2. Social and Community Service Managers in MyPlan
  2. Research another job title.  If you need help brainstorming here is a list.  Scroll down and click on "Community Leadership and Civic Engagement" then on Possible Job Titles. If you don't find your desired job title on MyPlan, go to the first or third options listed here.
  3. Research Current Job Openings. Look for an actual job posting you would be interested in if you had completed your degree.  Start at the Career Coop page then fill in the Career Investigation from using the information provided for that job. Skip the Employment Outlook section.
