BORROWING FROM OTHER LIBRARIES

After searching the EKU library catalog, if you still need more materials (articles, books, etc), try searching in other libraries around the country. Items in their collections can be loaned and mailed to you, for free, by using a service called Library Express. Follow these steps to use this service.

Articles

  1. Do a normal search through the Music Articles page
  2. When an article doesn't have full-text access, click Find Full Text
  3. Click Request Item through Library Express
  4. Enter Library Express using your EKU email login and password
  5. Fill out the Article Request form
  • In a few days, a PDF of the article will be sent to you as an email attachment

Everything Else! (Books, Scores, CDs & DVDs)

  1. Do a normal search in the box below
  2. Click the blue WorldCat.org link (upper right-hand corner)
  3. Choose a format (upper left-hand corner)
  4. Click on the blue title of an item you want
  5. Click Find Full Text at EKU Libraries (Note: It will say "find full text" even if you are looking for a print book, score, recording or video)
  6. Click Request Item through Library Express
  7. Enter Library Express using your EKU email login and password
  8. Fill out the Request form
  • In about a week, the item will be mailed to the location destination you chose on the Request form, and you will receive an email notification
