HON 308/310/320 - Shaking Up Shakespeare

Using the Library Resources

This assignment requires you to create a modern adaptation of a particular scene, episode, or key passage from Shakespeare's The Tempest for a specific, defined audience. Your adaptation might take the form of a short story, a film, a cartoon (animated or on paper), a performance, a game (online or physical), etc. -- the options are endless, but your final product and accompanying explanatory paper must demonstrate an understanding of both The Tempest and your particular audience.

The information contained in this guide will help you explore a variety of approaches that might require research in music, history, literature to start. If your topic needs research on biology, geology, sociology, etc., additional research guides are available in the left toolbar under "additional subject research guides."
