There are many lenses with which to view African-American history, but what about through the evolution of postcards? Not surprisingly, the vast majority of postcards that feature black people in the United States from the 19th and 20th centuries were very racist....

The article focuses on the multiracial protests against racial discrimination in the U.S. Topics mentioned include the development of the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter (BLM) by Alicia Garza, Opal Tometi, and Patrisse Cullors to promote social justice, the use of social media to prevent social injustice, and the social movements against racial discrimination and police brutality in the country.
