Supporting Digital Learning Objects

Achieving our information literacy goals requires a strong partnership between librarians and faculty. By working together, we can create a cohesive and impactful learning experience for students. Faculty expertise in subject matter combined with librarians' information literacy knowledge creates a powerful synergy. This collaboration ensures that information literacy instruction is relevant, timely, and integrated into the curriculum.

  • Librarians can provide faculty with tailored workshops, research guides, and or other digital learning objects on research methodologies.
  • Faculty can offer insights into student learning needs and challenges, helping librarians refine their instruction.
  • Co-creating assignments and assessments allows us to effectively measure student learning outcomes and make data-driven improvements to our programs.
