Special Collections & Archives: Visitor Information

From I-75:

• From I-75 North: take exit 87, turn right onto EKU Bypass; turn left onto Lancaster Avenue; turn right onto University Drive (there is no light at the intersection of Lancaster and University; University Drive is immediately past the pedway). 
• From I-75 South: take exit 87, turn left onto EKU Bypass; turn left onto Lancaster Avenue; turn right onto University Drive (there is no light at the intersection of Lancaster and University; University Drive is immediately past the pedway).

The library is the second cluster of buildings on your right as you enter University Drive. A beautiful, very old brick building with elaborate windows anchors the front corner of the Libraries Complex. The entrance to the library is set back from the street, off the little grassy area and where the large glass window begins (Little Building).

EKU Parking Office

Visit the EKU Parking Office online to obtain a visitor parking permit. Click “request a temporary parking permit online.”

EKU Parking & Campus Map

The Libraries Complex consists of three buildings (as indicated on the map linked above):

• Number 34. Crabbe Library (D2)
• Number 35. Little Building (D2, E2)
• Number 36. University Building (E2)

• Enter the Little Building (#35), and go through the doors straight ahead.
• Walk past the large Help Desk on the left.
• Go to the elevators that are on the left side of the stairs.
• Take the elevator down to the 1st floor.
• Special Collections & Archives (Room 126) is to the right.
