Kanopy Streaming Videos
Watch educational videos online. Includes over 17,000 feature films and videos in Humanities, Education, The Arts, Business, Health, Sciences and Media & Communications.
EKU Libraries recommends accessing with Chrome or Firefox browsers
Most programming includes public performance rights, as long as no admission is charged. Look for the PPR icon on the film's landing page.
MIT Global Shakespeares Video & Performance Archive
View performances of Shakespeare from many parts of the world. Also includes essays and metadata by scholars and educators in the field.
Public performance rights are NOT included.
PBS Video Collection
Collection of more than 1,200 streaming videos from PBS. Contains Frontline, NOVA, American Experience, Odyssey, and films by Ken Burns and Michael Wood. All videos in this collection are owned permanently.

Streaming collection of shows recently aired on PBS, including "American Experience," "FRONTLINE," "PBS NewsHour," "Religion & Ethics Newsweekly," and more. Includes links to individual program websites with hundreds of hours of additional content.

To learn how to search our EKU DVD collection consult the Finding Music Resources FAQ.
As an example, here are the search results for Beethoven violin sonatas. (This was an Advanced Search in which Beethoven's name was typed into the first search box, as the author, and "violin sonata" was typed into the second search box, as keywords.)

FINDING

On your results list, for a DVD you want, make note of the call number (like DVD40)
Go to the third floor of the main library and look for the DVD Collection
Take your DVD to the main lobby's help desk and check it out
