Education Research Guide

Library resources and other research help for courses in the College of Education and Applied Human Sciences. These are broad education resources that may overlap elementary and secondary levels and may cover several different curriculum areas.

Practice tests

The LearningExpress Library has:

  • Practice tests and study guides for the Praxis Core Academic Skills for Educators Reading, Writing, and Math exams for admission to the Professional Education Program

  • Practice tests and study guides for the Praxis PLT (Principles of Learning and Teaching Exam) and subject assessment(s) required for teacher certification.

In order to take the tests, you must register for a personal account. Simply click on the "Register" button under "New User," and then create a personal login and password that you can remember. If logging in from off campus, you must first use your EKU email login/password when prompted, and then you'll need to login with your LearningExpress personalized login and password.

  • After creating an account, go to Home. Choose the Career Preparation.

  • Scroll and choose Prepare for Teaching Exams

  • Choose the practice exams and free study guides for the Core Tests or Subject Assessments for your teacher certification.
