When you select a link to an online resource from EKU Libraries' website, you will be prompted to provide your E-Key (EKU e-mail) to login.
E-Key login examples:
Once you login, you should be seamlessly connected to our online resources.
If your login does not work, first contact IT to make sure your E-Key information is up to date. If IT confirms that your login information is correct, and you are still having problems logging in, please contact us so we can troubleshoot this problem.
Library Express is a service that allows you to request delivery of materials whether they are held by EKU or not.
If you are a current EKU student, any requests you make will be pulled from our collections and placed at the circulation desk of the library or EKU Regional Campus of your choosing.
If you are a current EKU faculty or staff member, any requests you make will be pulled and mailed to your campus address unless you request that the materials be held for you at one of our library locations.
Requesting Books from the Library Search
After selecting the title you want from the result list, just click on the Request Item button in the library’s catalog to have it delivered to a pick up location convenient for you.
You can also request delivery of items from other libraries around the world by using the same functionality.
EKU Libraries subscribes to thousands of online resources for EKU students, faculty, and staff, via databases that include eBooks, articles, streaming videos, and other types of content. There are many different ways to find online content related to your research topic:
Browse the A-Z list of Databases- to find a specific database and search within that database for articles
Use the Library Search Box- to discover a vast array of content. Your search results will include books and other print materials from libraries worldwide, as well as all of the online content to which EKU Libraries subscribes. When you find what you want, click on the View Online or Access Full Text Online links. If full text access is not available, you can click Request Item and Library Express will either buy it or borrow it from another library for you.
