Next week, March 3-7, we will celebrate 2025 Open Education (OE) Week, a global event that raises awareness of its benefits by inviting those working in OE to actively share their successes and learn about what others are achieving worldwide. Open education encompasses resources, tools and practices that can be fully used, shared, and adapted in the digital environment with permissions clearly granted by the author. OE Week provides practitioners, educators, and students with opportunities to build a greater understanding of open education practices and be inspired by the open community. If you would like to explore the hundreds of virtual, free events being offered next week by various universities and organizations, you can explore the official Event Map.

They will describe their projects, discuss the realities of the work, and share advice for those considering authoring OER. The panel will be held March 5, 2pm-3pm on Zoom. Register here.
