Faculty/Staff Spouse/Domestic Partner Borrowing Guidelines

The Faculty/Staff Spouse/Domestic Partner Borrower's card will allow you to have the same checkout privileges as an EKU staff member. Books will have a loan period of six weeks, with no limit on the number of items. However, please be aware that some departments of EKU Libraries may have restrictions on individual items or collections which may limit their use.

Remember to bring your Borrower's Card or a valid photo ID with you each time you come to EKU Libraries. Your use of the libraries and your ability to borrow items will be severely restricted without it.

Should your Faculty/Staff Spouse/Domestic Partner Borrower's Card become lost or stolen, it is important that you notify the EKU Libraries as quickly as possible. If your card is used without your knowledge, you will still be held responsible for items borrowed, lost, or damaged.

All Faculty/Staff Spouse/Domestic Partner Borrower's cards expire one year after the date of issue. If you wish to renew it, please stop by the Main Desk and complete a new application.

If you have any questions about your library account, or the services offered by the EKU Libraries, please call  (859) 622-1790 for more information.
