Eastern Kentucky University Libraries presented the 2018 Dick Mayo Allen scholarship to Tyler Busby on August 19.   Busby has been working for the Technology & Data Services Team (Tech Team) at EKU Libraries for two years. His primary responsibility is to ensure that the high-level of customer service provided by the Tech Team during the daytime hours is also available at night. He answers technology-related questions, images library computers, sets up technology for events, among other responsibilities. "I nominated Tyler for the Dick Mayo Allen Award because from when I hired him until now, he has grown as a student employee and is always willing to take extra steps to help students, faculty, and staff," says Jamie Haddix, his supervisor. Tyler will graduate in 2020 with a B.S. in Mathematics.

The Dick Mayo Allen Award is presented each year to honor an outstanding EKU Libraries' student employee. The Award includes a $500 scholarship and a plaque.
